Qualifications
PROFESSOR / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
• A good honours degree in the specialty with a higher degree such as doctorate or fellowship for clinical disciplines.
• Several years of teaching and professional experience in area of specialty in a University or comparable professional institution.
• Ability to initiate and develop research project
• Some administrative experience
• Substantial scholarly publications in local and international journals.
• Ability to supervise postgraduate (including Ph.D) candidates in areas of expertise
• Experience in working with inter-disciplinary group
• Must be registered with appropriate professional body

SENIOR LECTURER
• A good honours degree in specialty with a higher degree such as doctorate or fellowship for clinical disciplines.
• At least 5 years of teaching In University or similar institution
• Ability to initiate and develop research project
• Substantial scholarly publications in local and international journals
• Ability to supervise postgraduate including Ph.D candidate in areas of expertise
• Experience in initiating and developing academic group project plus computer literacy
• Must be registered with appropriate professional body.

LECTURER I & II
• A good honours degree in specialty with a higher degree such as doctorate or fellowship for clinical disciplines.
• At least 3 years of teaching
• Ability to initiate and develop research project
• Substantial scholarly publications in local and international journals
• Must be registered with appropriate professional body.

ASSISTANT LECTURER
• A good honours degree with Masters registerable for a Ph.D. Programme
• At least 5 years of teaching
• Ability to initiate and develop research project
• Substantial scholarly publications in local and international journals
• Must be registered with appropriate professional body.

TECHNOLOGIST 1/11 (PHARMACOLOGY)
• Minimum qualification required is HND or Equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology with membership of ISL T, relevant experience in Medical Microbiology & Parasitology/Virology would be' an advantage.
• Evidence of discharge or exemption from NYSC.
• Evidence of professional registration with the regulatory body

TECHNOLOGIST I/II (Biochemistry & Physiology)
• A.l.S.T. / HND or equivalent qualification with specialization in Physiology or Biochemistry.
• Relevant experience in Biochemistry or Physiology Laboratory would be an advantage.
• Evidence of discharge or exemption from NYSC.
• Evidence of professional registration with the regulatory body
TECHNOLOGIST II (Medical Department)
• A.I.M.LS.T /F. l. M. L. S. T or equivalent qualifications with specialization in Laboratory Medicine and two years post qualification experience in a Teaching Hospital or Institution of comparable standing.
• Evidence of discharge from NYSC or exemption.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
• A good honours degree and M. Sc in Clinical Psychology with not less than 2 years post qualification experience in a University or equivalent institution of comparable standing,
• Possession of a higher degree in the specialty would be an advantage.
• Evidence of discharge from NYSC or exemption.

PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL OFFICER I
• B.Ed (Tech)/HND (Graphic) with six years professional qualification experience in a comparable organization.
• Computer literacy would be an added advantage.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR
• A good honours degree in Accounting in addition to a recognized Professional qualification such as ICAN/ACA, ACCA etc.
• Candidates should have not less than 15 years post qualification working experience in a University or Institution of comparable standing,
• Computer literacy in Excel and Microsoft word is essential.

SENIOR ASSISTANT SECRETARY
• Candidate should possess first degree preferably in Humanities (Arts and Social Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Law etc from a recognized University with at least 8 years post qualification experience and a minimum of 2 years experience as an Assistant Secretary in a University or comparable institution.
• Possession of Masters degree will be an advantage.
• Evidence of discharge or exemption from NYSC.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER II
• Candidate should possess first degree (preferably in Humanities) from a recognized University with at least 2 years post qualification experience.
• Evidence of discharge or exemption from NYSC.

PRINCIPAL EXECUTIVE OFFICER I
• HND in Business Study with 11 years post qualification experience in Committee & Planning and General Administration or Personnel Management in a University system.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE OFFICER
• Candidate should have at least an HND in Tourism & Hotel Management or equivalent qualification with at least 3 years experience in Tourism, Passages, Patrol services.
• Evidence of discharge from NYSC or exemption there from.

Condition of Service
• Appointments, which will be on permanent basis, would commence as soon as possible. Appointees would be on probation for the first two years and would be considered for confirmation to retiring age thereafter subject to satisfactory performances. Other conditions of service are as stated in the Senior Staff Condition of Service.
